Devin Booker and Nike are going into the Nike Book 1 PE vault for upcoming releases as the Nike Book 1 “1995 All-Star” is rumored for a Summer 2025 release.
In 1995, Phoenix was the host city for All-Star Weekend. As the 1990s marked the golden era for basketball, especially basketball footwear, it was only right that Book nodded the stars for his shoe.
Both teams wore Valley-inspired jerseys but the Eastern Conference’s jerseys were unmatched. Although they lost in style, the team was stacked with its Hall of Fame starting five that included Scottie Pippen, Penny Hardaway, Shaquille O’Neal, Grant Hill, and Reggie Miller. Patrick Ewing, Larry Johnson, Alonzo Morning, and others were on the bench.
As the Book 1 rollout took off last NBA season, the Phoenix Suns guard wore the Nike Book 1 “1995 All-Star” PE during his latest All-Star appearance, a nod to the timeless jerseys worn when Phoenix hosted the NBA All-Star Weekend in 1995. Originally meant as a player exclusive, the pair will make a retail release joining other PEs that will release in 2025 including the “Forrest Gump” Nike Book 1 and the “Moss Point” Nike Book 1.
The pair is expected to mirror the version Booker wore in early 2024 with its suede, canvas, and leather upper dipped in purple. A black glossy leather Swoosh with a teal outline will accompany the pair as well as teal laces, an orange pull tab, and a black & orange split-colored midsole and outsole combination.
The Nike Book 1 “1995 All-Star” releases in Summer 2025 for $150 via SNKRS and select retailers.
