The Nike Pegasus line has withstood the test of time ever since its emergence in the early 1980s. The performance running shoe line has morphed into a gargantuan aspect of running footwear through the years. The all-new Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 holds true to its roots while carving its own lane for future Pegasus models.
The pair still features the signature essentials of a Pegasus running shoe — breathable and lightweight mesh upper with an aerodynamic look to elevate performance. The shoe also features a rubber waffle outsole as the tooling dates back to Bill Bowerman’s early experiments with running shoes. While the fundamentals continue to carry over with each new installment of the the Pegasus line, its latest features truly set the shoe apart from its predecessor year after year. The 37th chapter is no different.
The shoe encompasses Nike React Foam instead of its previous Cushlon preference. The choice is an obvious no-brainer as the React cushioning propels the runner with each stride while simultaneously providing the right amount of comfort for a smooth run. An Air Zoom unit lands on the forefoot for extra comfort that enables the runner to really hit their marks with each step.
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 releases for both men and women starting on April 28 for $120 USD at Nike.com and select retailers. Stay tuned for more Nike Running information here at Snkrs Day.
