This year, Nike is set to pay tribute to Scottie Pippen by re-releasing some of his signature sneakers and creating mashups of his signature line. Nike will release the Zoom Flip’n and the Max A Lot as hybrids, while an Air Pippen I white/black-metallic silver will unleash in May. In addition, Nike will also unleash another Air Pippen I colorway in June. Although the Nike Air Pippen I originally released in 1988, this particular colorway has is undoubtedly new. Its primarily white leather is overlayed by various total orange-colored accents including the plastic, curvy lines on the side panels and the outsole. It also contains a visible Air sole unit and an orange Pippen logo on the heel and tongue. Specifically, this show will release on June 25th, 2010. Click here to view additional photos. |
