It’s no secret that Nike likes to experiment with different crafting materials on popular silhouettes. This year, the Swoosh will debut an Air Max Plus featuring metal plating for protection.
The offering is covered in a metal and mesh base with black plastic caging, along with leather on the mugdguards, tongues, and heels. Aside from the unique building materials, red makes a breif appearance on the Nike Checks and tongue, followed by 3M detailing on the toe, tongue, and laces. Wrapping up the design are matching Air bubbles and an all-black rubber sole.
