Where to Buy Nike Air Max 95 "Toronto"
Nike is continuing its Air Max 95 “City Pack” with the Nike Air Max 95 “Toronto” iteration.
Earlier this year, the Swoosh kicked off the series in the A with the “Atlanta” Nike Air Max 95. The legendary AM95 will head north for the latest destination-dedicated release.
The upcoming Nike Air Max 95 “Toronto” upholds a classic design with its signature gradient look on the upper with a black midsole, tongue, and toe box. The “Toronto” pair takes it a step further with a gradient treatment of red-purple-blue on the penultimate layer of the AM95’s upper. Other details include a university red heel Swoosh & Air unit, blue stitching, and that same multi-color gradient look on the shoe’s piping.
The “Toronto” Air Max 95 also includes removable tongue patches, revealing “WEST END” and “EAST END” lettering, an ode to the capital city’s districts. Finally, “Valid for Toronto” decks the insole graphic.
Designed by Sergio Lozano and first hitting shelves in 1995, the AM95 was a game-changer, drawing inspiration from the human body and the natural world. The design pushed boundaries with its distinctive layered upper, representing muscle fibers and vertebrae, giving the sneaker a bold, anatomical aesthetic that stood out from anything else on the market. To this day, the design turns heads.
What truly set the Air Max 95 apart was the introduction of visible Air units in both the heel and forefoot, delivering next-level cushioning that made it a favorite for runners and sneakerheads alike. For the last three decades, the AM95 has evolved from a performance shoe to a cultural staple.
The 416-inspired AM95 will continue the model’s storied catalog heading into the shoe’s 30th anniversary.
The Nike Air Max 95 “Toronto” releases on August 31, 2024, for $185 via Nike.com and select retailers.
