Nike is releasing a special Air Max 90 hinting at the origins of “The Swoosh” set to release later this year. Each pair will show us the different stages of Nike branding from 1971 to the present day.
The uppers are constructed with mesh, nylon, and plastic overlays in a royal blue tone. White makes an appearance on the tongue, laces, and lateral Swoosh. A cutout Swoosh logo is added to the medial side followed by, “Frist use June 18, 1971” written in white font. For the finishing details, the silhouette features throwback Nike labels on the tongue and heel.
However, a release date has yet to be confirmed but, will be dropping at Nike and select retailers soon for $140. In the meantime, take a quick look at the latest images below.
