Nike is bringing back a cult classic as the Nike Air 180 “Ultramarine” will release this summer.
The Air 180 and its original “Ultramarine” colorway were designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield in 1991 and last seen in early 2018. A predominantly white upper on the shoe’s neoprene base and suede overlays are complemented with its navy and bright crimson-like pink hits land atop the pair’s signature exposed Air unit.
While the Swoosh continually pushes the Nike Air Max 1 and its OG 1986 “Big Bubble” shape through in-line releases and collaborations, the 180 will make its return and could very well lead the charge for a new 180 retro series.
The Nike Air 180 “Ultramarine” returns on May 24, 2024, for $150 on Nike and select retailers.
