LeBron James‘ road to success hasn’t always been paved in gold. Growing up in the blue-collar town of Akron, Ohio, James had to work for everything he earned. He talks about his upbringing and navigating his path to triumph in third episode of the “Akronite Philosophy” podcast.

“My game has changed more in how efficient I am. Not only with basketball, but with life. I’m very efficient with my time. I’m very efficient with my play,” mentioned James. He discusses how his success hinges upon being efficient in all aspects of life, which has helped him from a young age to current times.

He then goes over a range of topics from the Nike LeBron 13, acting in a Judd Apatow movie (who also speaks on the podcast), and his lifetime deal with Nike. Check out the podcast below.
