Air Jordan 11 “DMP”
The one shoe I will never ever part with would have to be my Defining Moments Pack 11’s. One of my favorite sneaker silhouettes of all time, the Air Jordan 11 is just a beautiful shoe. Back in ’06 when they released, I didn’t have the funds to pick up the whole pack, so I initially missed out on this sneaker. About 2 years passed, and some how Tall T, one of my best friends stumbled upon a DS pack, so of course he copped. I begged him to let me buy the 11s from him for weeks, but he would never make the transaction. Then a couple days before I went off to UT, I went to Tall T’s house to say my farewells to his family. While I was talking to his father, Tall T came down the stairs with the DMPs in hand. I thought he was finally going to sell them to me, but to my surprise he said “Here, I’m proud of you.” and handed me half of his DMP pack. This was easily the nicest thing any one had ever done for me, so that’s why I could never ever, ever ever part with my DMP 11’s.
