The 23rd WNBA season just tipped-off.
It’s only right that the brand named after the man who wore 23 to the point that it transcend though decades, fashion and more soars into the W.
For the first time since 2011 with Maya Moore, Jordan Brand has added two players from the W into their roster. Asia Durr, the second overall pick in the 2019 draft, ran the scoreboard over at the University of Louisville. Kia Nurse, the tenth overall pick in the 2018 draft, was a fundamental piece to the deep UCONN team.
Both Durr and Nurse are not only the newest members of the Jordan familia, but they also share the rock as members of the young New York Liberty core.
We’re excited to see what the Jumpman has in-store for these two talented women. Whether it’s some fire J’s off court or some potential PEs throughout the season, the brand is strong within the W as game continues to recognize game.
