Question: What do you do when you’ve got Duke, Kentucky, Louisville and Indiana all looking to sign you? Question 2: More importantly, though, what do you wear?

For Romeo Langord, the 6’5 smooth swingman from Indiana, both answers are obvious. Showing out at adidas Uprising, the Class of 2018 standout led the 22 Vision squad in a close game against SC Supreme who happen to have Zion Williamson. He did so in the adidas Harden Vol 1. Why? “It’s the best shoe out right now,” Romeo says confidently.

Talking Hardens and hooping at a high level, check out our quick convo with Romeo below.

Snkrs Day: What went into picking the Hardens for this big stage?

Romeo Langford: I’ve been playing with these for a while now and they match my team colors.

Snkrs Day: What other shoes are in your rotation these days?

Romeo Langford: Just some more Hardens. [Laughs] It’s the best shoe out right now.

Snkrs Day: Off court, what are you rocking?

Romeo Langford: A lot of Ultra Boost and I just copped a new pair of Yeezys.

Snkrs Day: Before a tournament like this, what music are you listening to?

Romeo Langford: I really don’t listen to too much music. [Laughs]

Snkrs Day: Keep it strictly hoops?

Romeo Langford: Yessir.

Snkrs Day: What’s been the best part of playing at adidas Uprising so far?

Romeo Langford: The crowd. You don’t really get to see a lot of crowds like this at AAU games.
