If you recall, the Converse First String was an intrical part of 10 Sneakers We’re Looking Forward to in 2010 at the beginning of the year. That said, it hasn’t disappointed as we have witnessed exquisite Converse First String releases such as the Standard Matchpoint III and the Chuck Taylor Low. Converse will now unleash a three-sneaker collection of the Auckland Racer.
The Converse Auckland Racer was originally designed for running in the 1970s; however, it has be reconstructed for today’s standards and possesses a reflective TPU and nylon mesh in a sleeker, modern mold. This simple, stylish silhouette will be available in three colorways (grey, black, enamel blue) later this week for $80. It will specifically be available select spots including Snkrs Day in Austin, Texas.
