Towards the second half of the 2018-19 NBA season, Kelly Oubre Jr. told us he could fly in low tops and gave us some insight on what his Converse deal would include on and off the court.

“Look at my fit,” Oubre smirked when making mention of his tunnel style and world renowned wardrobe. “It’s nothing compared to what’s on my feet. That’s the Converse. It ties everything together for me. It’s that extra drip out of the water. It’s a blessing to be a part of that.”

Heading into the current season, Converse Basketball finally debuted its first performance shoe in years. The Converse All-Star BB consists of a light-weight mesh upper that sits on top of Nike’s React technology for that extra bounce. The Tsunami Papi is leading the charge with the sauce and the heat at the same damn time.

During the Phoenix Suns’ statement victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, The Valley Boyz founder debuted the Converse All-Star BB Low in a clean white on white colorway.

If his high top colorways are any indication of what’s to come in the low top version, Oubre’s PEs are about to be scorching just like the 602.
