Our latest Community Collections features an avid sneaker enthusiast from Upstate New York who has every Air Jordan 12 colorway that has ever hit stores. Kenny Schunck is a Syracuse representative who took it upon himself to start collecting. Originally hooked on the AJ 12 silhouette that is now the staple of his stock, Schunck started spending his own money to break through the $60 limit that his parents offered for one pair of sneakers per year. Now his personal stash has grown into shelves that serve as wallpaper in his bedroom, consisting of everything from OG Air Jordans to a custom from Mache.
Work your way through the pages to see Kenny’s full collection and some of his top selections with personal commentary, including his Oldest Pair and Personal Favorite. Leave your feedback on his stash in the comment section at the bottom of the page, and keep Snkrs Day streaming for everything sneakers.

Collection Summary:
“Growing up, I never had many options as far as sneakers were concerned. I would have one pair to wear to school, and then a pair of boots for the winter season here in Upstate NY. My Dad would take me shoe shopping, and if I was lucky he would give me a $60 limit to buy a pair of sneakers, which nowadays that might not even get you a left shoe. It came to a point where my passion for sneakers was growing so quickly that I had to take it upon myself to get what I wanted. The most important thing to me is wearing what you like, and not what is considered the hot release at that point in time. That’s why my collection ranges from OG Air Jordans, Lebrons, Kobes and Melos, to Griffeys, old school T-Macs, Iversons, and a plethora of Nike trainers from years of playing sports in high school and college. The shoe that started it all for me, the Air Jordan 12 “Flint”, lead to the 12ss being one of my all-time favorite sneakers. As you will see, I have been fortunate enough to get my hands on almost every colorway of Jordan 12s to ever release, which may be the highlight of my collection. Also, being that Syracuse has such a strong basketball following and I have been going to games ever since I was little, that helped trigger my interest early on and helped develop my collection throughout the years. I’m certainly proud of the collection I have garnered thus far, but I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.”
