The third full week in November usually includes family, food, and football. However, a not so distant fourth element is “Feast Week.” A bevy of basketball games graced our television sets across all time zones and all channels. As teams gear up for conference play, they also turned their sneaker game up a notch. The St. John’s Red Storm showed team unity yet again rocking matching Nike Zoom Kobe VII iDs. San Diego State came with their usual heat, but had stiff competition in terms of the game and sneakers in the USC Trojans. The Pitt Panthers continued their push for best kicks on the East Coast, while Miami’s Trey McKinney Jones showcased his Hurricane love with the Nike LeBron 9 “Miami” PE. Two other Florida schools brought heat to the court as well, while Arizona’s Gabe York, Jordan Mayes, and Nick Johnson warns us not to sleep on the ‘Cats.
