New Balance and Bricks & Wood look to continue their relationship with the upcoming Bricks & Wood x New Balance 1906U, designed and previewed by Dani B.

Since the first collab, the two brands set the bar for collaborative sneaker releases that seamlessly blend heritage, modern aesthetics, and storytelling.

Bricks & Wood, founded by Kacey Lynch in 2014, is rooted in South Central Los Angeles and emphasizes community, storytelling, and authenticity. The brand’s ethos has made it a natural partner for New Balance, known for its commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and staying true to its roots. The collaboration merges Bricks & Wood’s unique narrative-driven design with New Balance’s legacy of timeless sneakers.

The Bricks & Wood x New Balance 57/40, which marked the duo’s first major collaboration in 2021, became an instant hit. Featuring neutral tones, premium materials, and subtle details that nod to Bricks & Wood’s South Central roots, the sneaker captured the essence of both brands’ identities. The success of the 57/40 helped establish Bricks & Wood as a force within the streetwear scene, with New Balance benefiting from the fresh perspective Lynch and his team brought to the table.

Fast forward to 2023, and the Bricks & Wood x New Balance 9060 made waves across the sneaker world. The chunky silhouette, dressed in earthy tones and premium suede, is a testament to the evolution of their partnership. Once again, the collaboration sold out almost instantly, proving the demand for this creative fusion of culture and design.

The latest installment features the utility version of the 1906R — one of the key models for the Boston-based brand. The Bricks & Wood x New Balance 1906U is designed with a primarily black look with a colorful gradient finish that includes, green, yellow, orange, and pink.

The Bricks and Wood x New Balance 1906 collaboration is now available exclusively onBricksandWood.us and will be available globally on NewBalance.com and at select retailers on October 18, 2024, with suggested retail pricing is $170.
