Anuel AA and Reebok recently released the latest installment through the collaborative partnership with the “Sky’s The Limit” collection.

Using the iconic Reebok Question and the Classic Leather, the second collection with the Vector Brand and the puertorriqueño delivers for fans as reggaeton and Latino culture rise into mainstream popularity, especially in the states.

“When everybody sees Reebok, they see Anuel; when they see Reebok, they see ‘real hasta la muerte,'” the artist said.

His signature real until death adlib is more than just a tagline and is at the core of his relationship with Reebok as the “Sky’s the Limit” collection is dedicated to Anuel’s journey.

“Reebok is my family,” Anuel AA said. “The most special part is how much Reebok believes in me — the way they rock with me, the freedom they give me, the opinions they let me give me — the way they let me be a part of the plan; it’s a 50/50 job.”

With the collection drawing from the Caribbean skies, the drop is about Anuel AA through and through, exemplified best by the Question’s “Double Toe” concept tapping into Anuel’s doble A (double A) and the PR flag on the Classic Leather.

“When I do things, I like to innovate,” he said.

But innovation isn’t just what Anuel and Reebok are about. As both have shown in their own ways, they’re about rewriting the rules and going against the grain.

“What’s happening with Reebok is important because it’s history — in Spanish history and general history,” the artist proudly stated. “I’m big on Spanish culture and English culture becoming one. At this specific time, it’s the best moment to be alive because I have a deal with Reebok and dropping these sneakers at the level I’m at is perfect.”

The significance of the collection goes beyond the horizon as Anuel AA and Reebok have partnered with Foot Locker to deliver both pairs.

The collaborative release is a part of Foot Locker, Inc.’s ongoing “Be Seen” platform and campaign for Autism Awareness Month — a cause close to Anuel and his extended family.

As a part of the launch, Foot Locker, Inc. and Reebok will be making a donation to Autism Speaks, an organization dedicated to creating an inclusive world for all individuals with autism throughout their lifespans. The contribution follows Anuel, Reebok, and Foot Locker, Inc.’s collaborative donation late last year to local non-profit organization SER De Puerto Rico, which supports the organization’s mission of uplifting people with disabilities.

Additionally, the content for the Anuel AA x Reebok launch was in partnership with talent management company GAMUT Management, which works exclusively with and for people with disabilities.

From ideation to marketing and overall messaging, the collection is for everybody but especially for those from hardship.

“For me to be a part of Reebok is a dream come true,” he said. “The relationship I have with them and the plans we got, this is a concept that the sky is the limit; I come from the streets and not having a lot of options to make it in life.”

The latest drop is a continuation of Anuel’s full-circle epiphany with the brand. Before he became the global sensation he is today, Anuel was signed by Rick Ross and Maybach Music Group’s Spanish division. His first interaction with the Teflon Don? A Reebok meeting.

“Reebok has been in my career for a while now — through the ups and downs I really see them as my family. Reebok is the people’s brand because it allows me to connect with the people that come from where I come from,” Anuel said.

“It doesn’t matter where you come from or what you’ve done in life. When you see this shoe, it has the heavens — the sky’s the limit.”
