Following a tumultuous leave from the Raiders and the fallout from a sexual assault lawsuit, Antonio Brown has been dropped by Nike.

Confirmed by Complex, a Nike spokesperson stated that “Antonio Brown is not a Nike athlete” and that the brand does not discuss “sports marketing relationships.”

For reference, Nike has stuck with athletes during legal drama before, namely Kobe Bryant in the early ’00s. Just the same, Nike has terminated deals with athletes when proven guilty for a crime and given them a second chance upon return like Michael Vick.

One would still imagine Brown would play in Nike cleats this season for the Patriots though no longer under contract with the brand. Stay tuned to Snkrs Day for more on this story.
