Adidas Basketball has its next marquee signature athlete on the way. With a roster of established stars with James Harden, Damian Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, and Trae Young, the Three Stripes looks to the future with Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards.

Nicknamed Ant-Man, the two-way guard from Georgia is primed to be next Adidas signature athlete with the arrival of the upcoming Adidas AE 1. Though images of the futuristic shoe have surfaced, we get a first look at the Adidas AE 1 logo in detail.

The AE 1 logo is designed with an “A” silhouette and carved out in a set of forward and backwards “Es”, potentially alluding to the player’s versatility on both sides of the court. As an alum of the University of Georgia and being born in the A, it’s only right that the logo makes its debut in that signature Georgia peach hue.

A release date for the Adidas AE 1 has not been announced but is expected to arrive as early as Holiday 2023.
