A non-original Air Jordan 6 will make its return to the Olympics as the early 2000s classic Air Jordan 6 “Olympic” will release in 2024.
The colorway first released in 2000 for the Sydney Olympics and was rereleased in 2012 for the London Olympics. Over a decade after its last release, the colorway will return for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
With parallels to the OG “Carmine” Air Jordan 6, the Air Jordan 6 “Olympic” is designed with a white upper, midnight navy panels and varsity red details as a patriotic rendition of the AJ6. Though Michael Jordan never wore the pair during the Summer Games, the colorway is favored amongst fans.
The Air Jordan 6 “Olympic” releases August 3, 2024, via SNKRS and select retailers. A price point has not been disclosed.
