Making a retro return for only the second time in 23 years, the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” is a classic. Since it’s original conception in 1991, helping MJ to his first NBA title, the famed Air Jordan 6 has only returned as a part of the 2008 6/17 CDP. Coming back around for 2014 in its original form, the model retains most of its DNA with a few minor adjustments. Consistent with the prototype up top, the deep red durabuck base and white leather overlays are steady, as are the black rubber tongue and midsole. New additions come in the form of a Jumpman symbol swapped in on the heels, and an ice blue outsole for a refreshing modern update. Check out Jordan Brand’s official photos below, and keep Snkrs Day bookmarked for much more on the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” in the next week before they release May 24th.
