Jordan Brand is back at it, celebrating the Jordan 5’s 30th anniversary with a Jordan 5 Low Golf “Black Metallic”. Whenever Nike, and in particular Jordan Brand, drop a new golf shoe it sparks a unique interest in the community. This one arrives as part of a series, each featuring some of the 5’s best colorways since its inception.
The upper is reminiscent of the classic Black Metallic drop in 1990, featuring a Black nubuck upper all over. The Metallic Silver tongue dons a Fire Red Jumpman logo, embroidered to sit above flat Black laces. In classic Jordan 5 fashion, the cages and lace lock are transparent, though the lace lock has been adapted slightly. It features a flattened design, which includes a Jumpman branded ball-marker, fitting synonymously with the rest of the series. The midsole is predominantly black decorated with hits of Metallic silver with Black splatter. On the outsole, we find an icy transparent construction with Black Golf studs.
Sure to be a hit with golfing sneakerheads, we can’t wait to see them on tour as well. Dropping this month for $220, will you be going for a pair? Let us know if you’ve dabbled in Jordan’s Golf series before and as always, stay locked into Snkrs Day!
