The Air Jordan 4 was the perfect successor to Tinker Hatfield’s first creation for his Airness. The AJ4 featured mesh panels, an even larger heel tab, and a wing-like lace structure was introduced. Since 1989, the Air Jordan 4 has appeared in different colorways. However, nothing beats an original.
Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue” originally released in February 1989. While the shoe retroed in 2006 and then in 2012, both versions failed to include the signature Nike Air heel tab. The rumored release of the “Military Blue” colorway looks to correct that, according to Sole Debrief. The predominantly white upper with a hint of light blue will come in an OG-cut as well as the shoe looks to make a return in 2021.
