Scrolling through Twitter and Instagram the last few years, all you can see are sneakerheads begging for classic Air Jordans in their OG form. Jordan Brand has listened to our cries and is bringing back the Air Jordan 4 Black/Red complete with Nike Air on the back.
Originally released in 1989 and last returned with original branding in 1999, the classic shoe tied to an unforgettable story is right on time for its 30th anniversary. While black shoes might not usually be associated with spring/summer drops, this is truly a colorway that you can wear with damn near anything in any season.
To some, this may even be the best release of the year.
Coming in at $200, the unbeatable combo of black, red, and grey with OG Nike Air logos on the heel shines in any era. The best question is how many pairs will you be picking up?
Check out the images below for an on-foot look at the Jordan 4 Black/Red releasing on May 4th.
