Jordan Brand is no longer releasing the Air Jordan 11 “Black/Red/Grey” is as it was rumored earlier this year for 2025..

As of now, the exact details are unknown but it’s anticipated that the Air Jordan 11 will arrive in a “Gamma”/”Cap and Gown”-esque look with a predominately black look on the signature patent leather and ballistic mesh upper. However, a touch of red lands on the AJ11.

The Air Jordan 11 is one of the most iconic silhouettes in sneaker history. Originally released in 1995, the design was groundbreaking, featuring patent leather for the first time on a basketball shoe. Michael Jordan debuted the sneaker during his first full season back from retirement, adding to its legendary status.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the AJ 11 was built for both performance and style, blending a mix of cordura mesh and premium leather with a translucent outsole that became instantly recognizable.

The AJ 11 made its mark during the 1995-96 NBA season when Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to a record-breaking 72-10 regular season and a championship win.

Since then, the AJ11 has become a classic and an annual tradition for special, holiday releases. The upcoming “Black/Red/Grey” AJ11 looks to continue the yearly tradition.
